Two weeks ago, O’Fallon voters approved a smoking ban. Now an organized effort has been formed to repeal it. A group calling itself “Repeal the Ban” plans to circulate a referendum petition demanding a special election in November. The ban approved in the city election earlier this month had gotten on the ballot by petition, too.
