AUDIO: David Gaines reports [Mp3]

Employees at the Boone County courthouse in Columbia, and in surrounding buildings, were unable to get to work early this morning. A suspicious envelope was found just outside the courthouse, and the bomb squad sent in its robot to retrieve it shortly after 8:30 a.m. The package was picked up without incident, and at this time is not considered a threat. Employees were allowed back into the courthouse and other businesses in the area around 9, and streets were reopened as well.
