The effort to have utility consumers pay some or all of the costs of finding the location for a second commercial nuclear power plant in Missouri has died in the senate.  Senator Jason Crowell of Cape Girardeau used a point of order to stop debate on SS/SCS/SB48.  Senate President pro tem Rob Mayer ruled Crowell’s point of order was well-taken.
