A trial has started in Franklin county on a big damage suit growing out of a plane crash in 2006 that killed seven people. Relatives of the victim and a survivor of the crash had sued Quantum Leap Skydiving Center, the Sullivan Regional Airport and various companies involved with the airplane.
The only survivor, and relatives of one of the victims, settled out of court.
The plane crashed into a tree in a residential neighborhood shortly after takeoff.
