The husband in a central Missouri family charged with murdering a drifter from Ohio has been sentenced to life in prison with no chance for parole.

Audrain County resident Chester Harvey says he is “totally responsibleā€ for the death of James McNeely. His wife and three sons also were charged in the case.

One of his sons had pleaded guilty to his part of the crime earlier and is serving five years in prison.
