Nodaway County authorities say the tenth anniversary of the disappearance of a Skidmore man has passed quietly with no new clues and the only man ever considered a possible suspect remaining in prison. The sheriff has told the St. Joseph News-Press there hasn’t been a tipĀ  in the disappearance of Branson Perry since last year.

One man arrested as a suspect eight years ago is serving 30 years in prison for child porn. He drew attention when he bragged on an internet chat room that he had killed a man matching Perry’s description and had hidden the body where it would never be found.
