Bank robberies spike in St. Louis

April 9, 2011 By Jessica Machetta

Two serial bandits are at work in St. Louis, where bank robberies are on the rise.

The FBI says there have been 22 robberies this year, compared with 10 last year.

Two men are blamed for most of the 13 unsolved bank robberies. One of them has become known as the “McBurglar” because he wears a McDonald’s shirt and cap to rob banks.
