The #11 Missouri softball team opened with a 4-1 victory in game one, but their 24-game winning streak came to an end in the second game, as North Texas upset the Tigers 9-2, hitting four home runs in the second game. The Tigers are now 27-4 on the season.

Game one highlights: MU pitcher Chelsea Thomas improved to 13-2, as she struck out 11, walked one and allowed one run on five hits. Ashley Fleming finished the game with two hits in four at bats, plus a double and a home run and three driven in.

Game two highlights: Kristin Nottelmann took the loss, her first of the season, to fall to 11-1 on the year. Catherin Lee and Marla Schweisberger led the team with two hits each, while Lee and Nicole Hudson each drove home a run. The nine runs allowed is the most given up by the Tigers this season.
