More snow headed our way

March 28, 2011 By Jessica Machetta

A good part of the snow that hit Missouri Saturday has melted away as we start this week, but a Delta Airliner with 140 people aboard slid off the runway at Lambert St. Louis airport during the storm Saturday evening.  Nobody was hurt including two notable passengers — former Senator Bond and St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright.

Winter isn’t finished with us. The National Weather Service says a storm system will move into Missouri tonight and continue into tomorrow. We’ll get measureable snow in many places, rain in others. Opening day of the baseball season comes late this week when temperatures are expected to be in the 50s.
