An inmate at the maximum security prison in Jefferson City has died of apparent natural causes.
66-year-old Harold Howard began serving a 20-year sentence from Henry County for statutory rape in February of 2007. The Corrections Department reports Howard was pronounced dead early Sunday afternoon.
