Mongomery Co. prosecutor to go before St. Louis Co. judge

March 24, 2011 By Jessica Machetta

A circuit judge from St. Louis County has been appointed to hear the ouster case against the Montgomery County prosecutor.  The Attorney General wants to throw out Lee Elliott because Elliott acted as a defense attorney for a person facing a speeding charge in Montgomery City municipal court.

Montgomery County circuit judge Keith Sutherland has removed himself from the case after ordering Elliott not to carry out his duties as prosecutor.
