Kirksville passes ordinance restricting pit bulls

March 23, 2011 By Jessica Machetta

Kirksville is giving pit-bull owners two months to build fences at least five feet high, with padlocked gates, if they’re going to keep their dogs outdoors. If they’re indoor dogs, they cannot freely leave the house.

The Kirksville city council has adopted a new Dangerous and Restricted Animal ordinance.
