The Archbishop of St. Louis says a priest dead for almost 50 years might have sexually abused children in southeast Missouri in the 1940s and 1950s. The priest, the Reverend John Wieberg, died in 1963 after serving parishes in Advance, Arcadia, Charleston, and St. Charles County.
The archbishop says five people have made claims in recent years.
