After reading from two sources, the first, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and now a confirmation from Andy Katz at ESPN.com, it appears as though Missouri men’s basketball coach Mike Anderson will get his second contract raise and extension in as many years.

While the rumors have been running rampant about Anderson taking the Arkansas job, both outlets are reporting that sources say a deal has been in the works for awhile that will add two more years to Anderson’s contract at Missouri, plus bump up his salary from $1.5 million to $2 million.

The Post-Dispatch reported that the final hurdle is waiting for approval from university officials. Anderson received a new seven-year deal last April after he interviewed for the Oregon coaching job.  This new extension would add two years to the remaining five of his deal.

Curators meet on Tuesday.
