Missouri State held Creighton to just two field goals in the final 11:50, defeating the Bluejays 60-50, and earning itself a spot in Sunday’s State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Tournament championship game.

Top-seeded Missouri State improved to 25-7 on the season with its fifth straight win in the series, while fifth-seeded Creighton dropped to 19-14 with the loss. The Bears will advance to Sunday’s 1:05 pm championship game.

MSU landed four men in double-figures, keyed by 18 points and 11 rebounds by Mallett. Weems had 15 points and seven boards, while Ricks had 13 points and Leonard 10. MSU shot 37.0 percent for the day and were 17-of-25 from the line.
