Mo. gas prices continue to climb

A check of gas prices throughout Missouri shows $4-a-gallon gas is getting close.  One station in Jefferson City is charging $3.90 a gallon … 50 cents more than the next highest price listed on an internet site that uses public reports to compile prices. A station in Kansas City has the next-highest price, $3.40. A  station in Nixa and one in Independence are still selling gas for an even $3.
