The Missouri Tigers dropped to #22 in this week’s poll as Mizzou heads back on the road for the final time this regular season to face the Nebraska Cornhuskers for the final time as league rivals.

Missouri and Nebraska are each coming off a road loss over the weekend, with Missouri falling at Kansas State (80-70) and Nebraska losing at Iowa State (83-82) in overtime. The Tigers are looking for their third road win of the year and second in Big 12 Conference play.

It always seems like Nebraska plays Missouri tough and that’s a credit to Doc Sadler’s team defense. They will challenge Mizzou to shoot the ball outside and Mike Anderson says this is a game, where he needs everyone to step up their play. The Huskers are 5-2 at home.

Mike Anderson comments on the NU game

Missouri has won four of its last five meetings with Nebraska and the Tigers have won four consecutive during the regular season, including a 74-59 win in Lincoln last year. The Tigers are looking for back-to-back wins in the Bob Devaney Center for the first time since 2003.

As you heard in the link above, Anderson is looking for that continued balance in the scoring column. Missouri is one of six teams nationally to have five players averaging double figures in scoring (along with Long Beach State, UCLA, UNC-Greensboro and Detroit)
