The fiancee of a man on trial for the murder of a University City policeman says he talked several times about starting a revolution and killing police officers. 

Her testimony has come on the first day of the trial of Todd Shepard, who is accused of murdering University City police sergeant Michael King in 2008. 

The prosecutor says he’d like to see the death penalty for Shepard, who’s already in prison on a federal drug conviction.
