St. Louis area caregiver allegedly stabbed quadriplegic to death

A quadriplegic’s caregiver has been charged in St. Louis county with stabbing his client to death and then setting his apartment on fire. Murder and arson charges filed against Tyrone Benedict, who suffered burns on his back, buttocks and hands, say he stabbed Mark Woods, and say Benedict lied about his whereabouts when he was first questioned.
