The Panera Bread company is paying a union trust fund more than $5.7 million to settle a lawsuit claiming Panera misled investors. Panera is based in St. Louis. The lawsuit claimed Panera stock was inflated by misleading company statements about its Crispani Pizzas, which the company discontinued two years after it started offering them.
