A northwest Missouri man convicted of murdering a Chillicothe woman two decades ago will be tried for a third time at the end of May. Mark Woodworth was 16 when he was charged with shooting to death his neighbor, Cathy Robertson, in her home. She was the wife of his father’s business partner. The partner survived the shooting.

Woodworth is serving a life sentence for the murder, but the State Supreme Court has ruled that Woodworth can present new information at a new trial as part of his latest appeal.
