Energizer Holdings: profits down

Energizer Holdings says its 2011 profits are likely to be lower than some forecasts. That has cause stock to drop about five percent. Energizer is based in St. Louis County. The company says its profits dropped 12 percent in the company’s first quarter because because of declining battery sales and because of the costs of buying American Safety Razor company.
