A Kansas City man who was drunk and had been driving more than 150-miles an hour when he caused a fatal traffic crash has pleaded guilty to manslaughter and assault. The car driven by John McNamara rear-ended the car of a young woman on Interstate 29 in Platte County, killing the woman. McNamara’s blood-alcohol was more than double the legal limit.
