Bills sent by a couple of St. Louis-area companies to their west-coast customers might not get to the addressed because they’ve been scattered along 65 miles of interstates 2-70 and 55 in three counties between Maryland Heights and Sainte Genevieve.

A rear door on a postal service truck flew open and scattered mail for miles until the truck was stopped. A postal service spokesman says he thinks most of the mail has been recovered.
