MU’s Brown named Big 12 player of the week

Missouri women’s basketball senior guard RaeShara Brown was named the Big 12 Player of the Week after helping the Tigers in an 85-80 overtime win over No. 22/24 Texas on Sunday.

Brown scored a career high 27 points along with six rebounds, five assists and three steals in Missouri’s 85-80 overtime victory over No. 22/24 Texas. The Tigers overcame a 12 point deficit with under three minutes left in regulation.

Earlier in the week, Brown scored a team high 15 points, including three 3-pointers, and had seven assists in MU’s game against No. 9 Xavier. For the week Brown averaged 21.0 ppg, 6.0 apg, 5.5 rpg and 2.5 spg.
