Man who led Independence police on chase, arrested for Carroll County murder

January 5, 2011 By admin

A man who led Independence police on a chase—and rammed an officer’s patrol car—has been arrested as a suspect in a Carroll County murder. Police say the man had a gun with him when he got out of his pickup truck, but dropped it when a policeman shot and him and missed.

Carrollton police had been looking for the man since the discovery of the body of another man, shot to death, in his parked car.
