KC convenience store robbed twice within minutes

December 29, 2010 By Jessica Machetta

Surveillance cameras at a Kansas City convenience store have captured images that have stunned police investigating a murder and robbery there. The cameras recorded the ambush of the store clerk by someone who waited for him, shot him, and stole some merchandise.

To make matters worse, the cameras also show a customer showed up a few minutes later. But instead of helping the mortally wounded clerk, the customer stole money from the cash register and took off. The chairman of the city ad-hoc group against crime calls the circumstances “unbelievable.”
