The Blues dropped a 3-1 final at home losing to the Vancouver Canucks. The Blues were held to just 16 shots on goal and the Canucks scored two goals, just two minutes and four seconds apart in the second period to build a 2-0 lead the Blues couldn’t come back from.

Aaron Volpatti scored his first career goal and Kesler had his fourth goal in three games in that 2nd period spurt and Roberto Luongo stopped 15 shots to earn his 13th career victory against the Blues in 22 games. Vancouver improved to 9-1-1 in its last 11 games.

Alex Steen scored his third goal in two games for the Blues who  travel to Atlanta tonight looking for a win after getting just one in its last five games.
