Gieseker auction set for next week

December 15, 2010 By [email protected]

Property belonging to jailed grain dealer Cathy Gieseker of Martinsburg is going to be auctioned off–live and online a week from today. Among the items to be sold are five pieces of property including two grain farms of at least 150 acres.

Gieseker is in prison for running a $27 million dollar grain fraud scheme. She agreed to forfeit her properties as part of her conviction.

Proceeds of the sales will go to victims and to a fund that supports law enforcement operations.
