The postseason football awards are piling up for Missouri State senior offensive lineman David Arkin. He was named to the American Football Coaches Association Division I FCS All-America team. He is the only representative of the Missouri Valley Football Conference named to the 25-player team.

Arkin started all 11 games for the Bears this season and earned All-Missouri Valley Football Conference first team and MVFC All-Academic first team distinction. On Nov. 23, he was named to the CoSIDA/ESPN Academic All-America football team, earning a spot on the second team among all Division I players in both the Bowl and Championship Subdivisions.

Arkin was also an Academic All-District VII selection in 2009 and 2010 and has a 3.72 grade point average in Construction Management with minors in Finance and Real Estate.
