A great start for the St. Louis Blues at the end of October and continuing into the first part of Novemeber has given away to an up and down stretch for the team.  The Blues will try and stop their current four game slide tonight in Edmonton as they take on the red hot Oilers, who have won four of their last five games.

St. Louis is coming off a tough loss on Wednesday night to the Washinton Capitols at the Scottrade Center.  They were dominated from the opening face off and would lose 4-1.  The lone goal on the night came off of the stick of Alex Steen.

The injury bug continues to be the story for the Blues who will once again be without Tj Oshie, Alex Perron and Roman Polak.  This has hurt their offense, and also their power play which is currently in the middle of an 0-16 streak.

This will be the first of four meetings between these two teams.  But after tonight, they will not play each other again until February 4th.

It will be a short turnaround for the Blues who will be in Vancouver for a game against the Canucks tomorrow night.

St. Louis Blues game time is 9:00 tonight.
