Matt Cassel threw three touchdown passes to Dwayne Bowe, Jamaal Charles rushed for 173 yards and the Chiefs won 42-24 over the Seattle Seahawks to remain in first place in the AFC West.
Cassel beat his former coach at USC, Pete Carroll by throwing for 233 yards and four touchdowns. Bowe has now caught at least one touchdowns in seven straight games. The Chiefs defense gave up 282 yards to Seattle quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, but they also picked him off twice. Defensive star Shaun Smith also got involved in the offense scoring his first NFL touchdown when he lined up as a fullback on the goal line and pushed the Seattle defense backwards for a score.
