Columbia native Carl Edwards finishes up the 2010 NASCAR Sprint Series schedules with wins, taking the checkered flag at Homestead-Miami. Edwards started in second and led 189 laps.

Jimmie Johnson finished second in the race, but claimed his fifth straight Sprint Cup title holding off Denny Hamlin and Kevin Harvick, by winning the point chase by 39.

Hamlin, who held a 15 point lead over Johnson had handling problems with his car most of the day and finished in 14th place. Harvick, who was third in the point standings finished the race in third.
