Instead of publicly venting to or about his players this season, Chiefs head coach Todd Haley has done of good job in his second year of publicly building up and supporting his players. After Sunday’s loss at Denver, some of his frustration boiled over to the other sideline.

At the end of the Chiefs 49-29 loss to the Broncos as their head coach Josh McDaniels reached out his hand to shake hands, Haley pointed, said something quick and to the point and turned and walked away.

On Monday, at his press conference, Haley offered an apology. Haley said he probably let “the emotions of the situation get me too much.” Haley still wouldn’t say why he was upset, but I think it’s pretty obvious at the way McDaniels kept his starters in the game late and continued to throw.

The rematch should be interesting come December 5th at Arrowhead.
