The city of Lebanon wants about $63,000 dollars back from a former police officer. The city says retired Lieutenant Scotty Ruble received the money paid him in worker’s compensation benefits. The lawsuit by the city sites state law paying a person cannot keep all of their workers compensation payments if they win a judgment against a third party.  The city says Ruble sued the driver of a car that hit his — causing several injuries — and won $200,000 dollars.
