Freshman Becky Lackey led the No. 2 Central Missouri Jennies soccer team to a 2-0 victory over Truman State on Thursday at the Truman Soccer Park. It is the first time in program history that UCM has beaten the Bulldogs three consecutive times and the first time that the Jennies have defeated Truman State on the road since 2006.

The Jennies (17-0, 15-0 MIAA) outshot Truman State (9-3-5, 8-2-5 MIAA) 9-4 and took a 2-0 advantage in corner kicks. Those are the lowest shot and corner kick totals by UCM this season.  The Jennies tied a program record as they now have 12 shutouts this season.
