Voter turnout expected to be about 51% (AUDIO)

October 26, 2010 By [email protected]

A survey of Missouri’s 116 elections authorities produces a forecast of a 51% turnout next Tuesday.  That’s an estimated 2.1 million ballots

A spokesman for the Secretary of State says more than 600,000 Missourians have updated their names or addresses and 105,000 more have signed up to vote for the first time.

P:olls open at 6 a.m. on November 2nd.  All nine of Missouri’s members of Congress are up for re-election. Missourians also can vote in a state auditor’s race.  All of the seats in the Missouri house and half of the seats in the senate also will be filled next Tuesday.  The ballot also has several propositions.
