Freeman rallies Bucs for a last second win over Rams

October 24, 2010 By Bill Pollock

Josh Freeman, the former K-State Wildcat, rallied the Tampa Bay Bucs in the fourth quarter finding Cadillac Williams on a one yard touchdown pass with 10 seconds to go to come back and beat the St. Louis Rams 18-17 with just 10 seconds left in the game.

Connor Barth, former Chiefs kicker, booted four field goals for the Bucs who were down 17-3 before mounting their comeback. Steven Jackson rushed for 110 yards on 22 carries to become the Rams’ all-time leading rusher, passing Eric Dickerson. Jackson now has 7,324 yards. Sam Bradford threw two touchdown passes in this game.

Freeman has a knack for the dramatic. The second year pro has rallied Tampa Bay back to wins in the fourth quarter in five of his seven career wins. With the loss, the Rams fall to 3-4.
