The Central Missouri Mules frallied from a 24-point deficit in the fourth quarter to post a 34-31 victory over Nebraska-Omaha at Walton Stadium-Kennedy Field on Saturday afternoon. The comeback of all comebacks was part of UCM Homecoming 2010.
Jamorris Warren grabbed a nine-yard touchdown pass from Eric Czerniewski with four seconds to play, capping a game-winning 80 yard drive that took just under a minute to complete, and put the finishing touch on 27 unanswered points over the final 10:23 of the game.
The TD reception by Warren was his 14th of the season, establishing a new UCM single season record, and Warren also set a new single season mark with 71 catches. He had 14 receptions in the game to tie a UCM single game mark.
The Mules, ranked ninth in the latest D-II Poll by AFCA, improve to 7-0 in the MIAA for the first time in program history, and see their overall record climb to 8-1.
