The state Insurance Department is getting more than $670,000 in federal funds to set up an office of Health Insurance Ombudsman. The person will be a third-party mediator helping consumers with complaints or questions and will help them find and enroll in proper health care plans. The program is part of the health care reform law passed earlier this year.
