Lawsuit in 10 fatal wreck settled for $63 million

October 8, 2010 By [email protected]

A lawsuit filed after a ten-fatality traffic crash in Oklahoma caused by a Missouri truck driver has been settled for almost $63 million. Relatives of eight of the ten victims have agreed to the settlement of the suit that named driver Donald Creed of Willard and his employer, associated Wholesale Grocers of Kansas City, Kansas. The suit claimed the company did not properly train and supervise Creed. The suit says Creed had been working more than ten hours straight when his truck crashed into a line of cars that had stopped for an earlier crash.
