Missouri Gaming Commission told KC market saturated

September 30, 2010 By admin

A spokesman for Kansas City’s Ameristar Casino has told the Missouri Gaming Commission the Kansas City area already is a saturated gambling market and does not need a new casino at Sugar Creek.

He says a fifth Kansas City area casino would endanger the financial stability of the other four.

The comments have come at the third and final Missouri Gaming Commission hearing on the location of the next casino. Supporters say the casino is needed in Sugar Creek to provide jobs and to improve the quality of life in the community.
