No one has been an active player for the St. Louis Cardinals than Ernie Hays. But, Hays says this weekend will be his last game with the Cardinals.
Ernie Hays has played the organ at the Busch Stadiums for 40 years. He’s 75. He plans to continue in the music business. He has about 20 students learning to play the organ and the piano. The Cardinals will have a ceremony on the field Sunday for Hays.
The team already has hired his replacement.
