Vienna city water system now on Superfund list

The amount of chemicals used for dry cleaning and metal degreasing in the city water supplies of Vienna is so high that the city water system has been put on the federal Superfund list. That’s a list of contaminated sites eligible for federal cleanup funds.

Vienna is a small town between Jefferson City and Rolla. The EPA is working on confirming the source of the contamination.
