Missouri soldier dies in Afghanistan

A Missouri soldier, serving in Afghanistan, has died.

No hometown is given for Major Paul D. Carron. Defense Department officials simply state that Carron died September 18th at Qalat, Afghanistan of “injuries sustained in a non-combat related incident”. Carron was assigned to the 2nd Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, Vilseck, Germany.
