Ford President: Ford is ‘committed to growing in Missouri’

September 17, 2010 By Jessica Machetta

Ford President Alan Mulally says Ford is “committed to continuing and growing in Missouri.” But at two meetings in Kansas City he has refused to make specific commitments about continued full vehicle production at the Claycomo plant.

He has told the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce that Ford is “absolutely committed to continuing and growing” its business in Missouri.

Mulally had been invited to speak at the Governor’s annual Economic Development Conference but the Governor’s office was not expecting any Claycomo commitments.
