Former Missouri running back Derrick Washington has been charged with two counts of misdemeanor domestic assault, in a separate incident from the felony charge of deviate sexual assault from earlier this summer. Washington now has two court appearances scheduled in Boone County, five days apart on the 22nd and 27th later this month.

The felony charges came almost two months after an incident that involved another MU student over the summer who may have been Washington’s tutor and/or ex-girlfriend. The latest incident, in which Washington was arrested this past weekend, involved an ex-girlfriend who according to police reports was left with a bloodied nose.

Washington was indefinitely suspended from the Missouri football team and two days after felony charges were brought up, he was kicked off the team. The former co-caption from Peculiar, MO. can still keep his scholarship as long as he attends the university.
