Three woman serving life prison terms for murdering their husbands have been ordered released on parole. The state parole board says Vicky Williams and Roberta Borden should get out of prison Oct. 15. The third woman, Ruby Jamerson, will be paroled in 2013.

Williams has been in prison for 32 years for hiring someone to kill her husband in Chesterfield. Borden has been in prison the same amount of time for arranging for her lover to kill her husband in Springfield. Jamerson hired two people 22 years ago to kill her husband in St.Louis.

All three women say their spouses abused them. The legisalture passed a law three years ago saying prisoners doing time for killing spouses would be eligible for parole if, among other things, there was evidence of substantial physical or sexual domestic violence issues that had not been presented at their trials.
