‘Bodies’ exhibition coming despite concerns

September 14, 2010 By Jessica Machetta

The Attorney General has gotten a promise from promoters of an exhibit that uses skinless bodies tha they will post notices acknowledging that the speciments once belonged to Chinese police.

Premier Exhibitions has displayed the speciments in exhibits called “Bodies — The Exhibition” in several cities, including Kansas City. Some of the “Bodies” exhibits have used bodies willingly donated by people. Some concerns had been raised that the bodies in this exhibit might have been Chinese prisoners who had been executed. It plans to open an exhibit at the Galleria Mall in St. Louis County next month.
