“Bodies” exhibit agrees to post disclaimer for St. Louis stop

September 13, 2010 By admin

Attorney General Chris Koster says he has reached an agreement with Premier Exhibitions, Inc., sponsor of “Bodies…The Exhibition,” a cadaver exhibit scheduled to open at the St. Louis Galleria in October.

The company has agreed to post disclosures in ads, on its website and at the exhibit that say there is no documentation on exactly where the bodies came from. There are concerns they may have been former Chinese prisoners.

The exhibit got the bodies from medical universities, where the bodies were sent pursuant to Chinese law, after the remains went unclaimed.
